Congratulations to Pedro Bernardinelli, "Hunting for Icy Bodies in the Outer Solar System" and Võ Tiến Phong, "An Electron Wave Conspiracy" who were selected as finalists in the Natural Sciences division for the 2020 Grad Ben Talks. Grad Ben Talks is an afternoon of TED Talk-style presentations by Penn Arts and Sciences graduate students representing the Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Professional Master’s programs.
Their talks will be delivered during the Natural Sciences presentations from 4-4:45 p.m. this Friday, February 21 in Amado Recital Hall, Irvine Auditorium (3401 Spruce Street). There will be a $500 prize for the Overall Audience Choice Winner selected by in-person and online votes. You can see a complete list of speakers, topics, and the full schedule for the day HERE. We’ll also have a lot of delicious food (including vegan and vegetarian options) on-hand throughout the afternoon if it helps with getting people there.
