Chairman’s Teaching Award - Margot Young
Teaching Assistants play a key role in the carrying out of our undergraduate educational mission. The Department of Physics and Astronomy wishes to recognize this by establishing a yearly award to be given to that graduate student who has preeminently distinguished themselves in the carrying out of their instructional responsibilities.
The Werner Teutsch Memorial Prize - Brandon Khek
Established by the friends of Werner Teutsch, to memorialize his exuberant creativity during a tragically short career. Awarded annually to the graduate student who, by their performance in the first-year courses, shows the most promise for outstanding achievement in research.
